Few places generate more car-key trouble than a beach day. Keys get locked in the trunk, dropped in the sand, or soaked in a beach bag. If you're stuck in a lot on Siesta Key, Lido Key, Longboat Key or Anna Maria Island, here's how I get you rolling.
Locked out in the lot
Don't try to pry the door in the heat — on the islands that often means damage plus a long wait. I come to the beach lot and open your car damage-free with proper tools. See car lockout service.
Key lost in the sand or surf
If the key's gone for good — buried, washed out, or fried by saltwater — I don't just open the car, I can cut and program a brand-new key right there, even a push-to-start smart key. No tow off the island.
Why the islands need a mobile locksmith
Towing a car off Longboat or Anna Maria in season is slow and expensive. Because I'm fully mobile, I bring the whole shop to the lot — usually reaching you within 15–30 minutes of your call.
Save yourself the day
A waterproof pouch for your fob and a spare key left in the cooler or with a friend will save a lot of beach days. Salt and electronics don't get along.
